Thank you for sharing your experience with the disc replacement surgery. I have been dealing with DDD, herniated discs and Osteo. Arthritis in my C/Spine and L/Spine and now my Thorasic Spine. I am a friend of Joanne's and I had disc replacement surgery in Santa Monica, CA on my C4/5 and C5/6, but my C6/7 is pinching the nerves. My surgery took place in May 2006. I have two bones from a bone bank and a metal cage surrounding the area. I am so thankful for the surgery, but wish they had done all three levels. I am checking things out for future.
